Kungkas Can Cook has become a very successful business in Central Australia. Indigenous owned and run, Kungkas employs Indigenous staff and has provided many traineeship opportunities for young people.

Jo's Desert Seed Cake was entered in Heat 2 of the Recipe Competition. Jo was also a driving force behind the Steiner School 'bushfoods' fundraiser cake stall. A gorgeous service that contributed to the general ambience of the event this year!

Yirara College domestic science class entered a Bush Cook Lasagne dish in the Recipe Competition. They won the Maggie Beer Special Incentive Award later at the Finals Presentations! Linda asks the young women about the ingredients!
